Hi, I’m Russ Yeager! 

Unlike a lot of other weight loss/shredding programs out there, this comes from the heart of a fat kid.

I wasn’t born with washboard abs, and I certainly didn't have the “lean gene” either… 

I know I might not look like it now, but back in high school, I was the chubby one.

I had to get a different kind of pants (husky pants) for school because I didn’t fit in regular ones! 

Yup, it was a low-point for me. 

I dreaded swim class because my tummy tire and I had nowhere to hide. 
I got teased and taunted throughout the entirety of my school years. 

Like a lot of people, I tried running…

I figured it’s free to do, and the “go to” exercise.

Sure running made me more fit, but it didn’t provide the changes in my body I was so desperate to see.

I stumbled across strength training when I started playing Basketball. I liked it — a LOT. 

I thought I’d hit the jackpot!

I was hyper-motivated about all things fitness for a while. No one could drag me away from nutrition books and the weight room. 

Up to my early twenties, I had the body and the (girl) attention I wanted. 

But, when I got a “real” job, the fat kid inside of me started to rear its head. I didn’t have the energy to be in the gym for hours when I got home. 
I was chained to a desk, working late, and suddenly that motivation to eat raw veg and plain chicken was gone. 

It was replaced by the hunger for take out and junk food. 

The truth is: I LOVE FOOD. 

...I learned later on, that was never going to change. I wasn’t designed to eat like a rabbit. If I forced myself to eat that way, I’d always ping back like an elastic band to my guilty pleasures and flabby stomach...

Anyway, I got complacent, and all that hard work started to disappear. My abs were fading FAST. 
I was your classic example of someone riding the weight loss rollercoaster. 

On the next twist and turn of my journey, I decided to do something pretty radical. 
I entered into an “International Physique Transformation Contest.”

It was a crazy move. I put everything on the line. If I didn’t win, I’d be laughed out of town. 

But, I needed that sense of accountability. 

I craved the kick in the ass a deadline gave me too! 

I hired an amazing trainer named Skip (A top natural bodybuilder in the World) and pushed myself to the absolute limits. It was one of the toughest times of my life. 

It wasn’t easy. 

I had days where I felt broken. When I thought I had nothing left in the tank and all I wanted was to eat a whole cake, and squirt whipped cream in my mouth… 

I had a constant voice in my head telling me “you’re always going to be a fat kid Russ, just accept it.” 

I refused. 

Anyway to cut a long story of blood, sweat, tears, and temptations short - I ended up winning the competition. 

I got offered sponsorship deals, public appearances, the lot! 

But… 
The 1 thing I got from the whole journey that was PRICELESS: 
A way to have abs 365 days a year, and still be able to ENJOY my life!
I was no longer starving myself to look a certain way. I didn’t have to be in the gym all day every day to get my six-pack…

I had the best of both worlds.  

I learned how to train like a "bodybuilder" but not to the extreme of where it rules your life.
